Global Travel is Hiring Membership Sales Representatives

Responsible for the sale of membership programs through leads generated from internet marketing, referrals, radio and TV advertising and inbound and outbound call campaigns.  Cultivate referrals from existing Independent Travel agents and members.

Statement of Primary Duties:
1.      Sell home based travel memberships to prospects that want make money at home and save on travel.
2.      Answer inbound phone calls or internet inquiries from prospective clients inquiring about membership programs.
3.      Make outbound calls to prospective members for a variety membership programs.  
4.      Develop a personal contact list to sell and market to prospects and Referrals. 
5.      Follow up contact with all leads to offer and sell memberships and to generate referrals.
6.      Follow up with prospects via telephone, email service and schedule appointments.  
7.      Schedule call backs and follow up on all prospects and referrals.
8.      Provide information about GTI products and services.
9.      Educate prospects on features and GTI membership programs.
10.  Assists in prospect follow-up and support of sales activities.
11.  Enter referrals in the internal marketing database.
12.  Maintain accurate records for contacts and call backs in the internal database programs
13.  Must meet or exceed minimum performance standards
14.  Maintain minimum requirements set by management which include, but are not limited to: sales goals, phone productivity, adherence to guidelines set forth Quality Assurance.
15.  Understand and comply with all policies and procedures set forth GTI.  
16.  Participate in required team meetings, training & coaching sessions.  
17.  Work with all departments as necessary to sell and service GTI members.
18.  Perform other duties as assigned and take the initiative as opportunities are identified.

Job Requirements/Experience:
            -
6 months telemarketing experience
            - 1 year sales experience
            - 6 months customer service experience
            - 6 months contact center experience
            - Basic to intermediate computer skills

The equivalent experience will be considered> 

Educational Requirements:  High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Certification/Training: Must attend Quality Assurance Program, systems and product training.

Preferred qualities: 

  • Proven track sales track record
  • Must enjoy the discipline of telephone sales
  • Must possess strong oral communication and listening skills
  • PC proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be able to type 35 wpm and be able to handle multiple tasks. 
  • Must have excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Must have demonstrated ability to close sales.

STATEMENT OF PRIMARY DUTIES: Answer phones to respond to customer needs, general customer inquires, invoice questions, and customer complaints. Project a professional company image through phone interaction.

1. Answer phones and respond to customer requests.

2. Sell product and place customer orders in computer system.
3. Provide customers with product and service information.
4. Up sell products and services.
5. Transfer customer calls to appropriate staff.
6. Identify, research, and resolve customer issues using the computer system.
7. Follow-up customer inquires not immediately solved.
8. Complete call logs and reports
9. Research billing and commission questions.
10. Recognize, document and alert the supervisor of trends in customer calls.

12. Collect $800.00 in commissionable revenue weekly.

Global Travel Hiring Information Systems Analyst

JOB BRIEF
Under general supervision, develop, prepare and disseminate strategic reporting information and maintain department applications. Candidate will be responsible for building ad hoc queries through SQL reporting services and providing day-to-day production support for assigned application. Work extensively in Microsoft databases creating standard and ad hoc queries. Create reports using SQL reporting services and Excel.  Candidate will provide trouble shooting services to operating departments
  
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with customers to define, document, develop, implement, maintain, administer and support solutions based on SQL reporting services.

Analyze end users data needs and develops user oriented solutions which interface with excisting applications.

Provide support for all aspects of data reporting, data management, and software applications as necessary.

Insures that users are kept informed of all system updates; and updates are fully tested before moving to the live directory.

Provides status, issues, and timelines to management staff and project teams.

Acts as primary contact for all application systems problems.  Analyzes and documents problem, recommends solution, initiates corrective actions.  Follows up on a problem resolution and informs clients of status

Remains knowledgeable of operations and the computer systems within the company to provide comprehensive support.  Applies various analysis tools and techniques to increase quality, productivity, and overall effectiveness of client departments.




JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION
A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years experience targeting query and reporting efficiencies.

  • Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills and sales aptitude.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience required.   
  • Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.

SKILLS:
 
  • Must possess vast industry knowledge as it pertains to cruise lines, ships, and practices
