Global Travel is Hiring Membership Sales Representatives

Responsible for the sale of membership programs through leads generated from internet marketing, referrals, radio and TV advertising and inbound and outbound call campaigns.  Cultivate referrals from existing Independent Travel agents and members.

Statement of Primary Duties:
1.      Sell home based travel memberships to prospects that want make money at home and save on travel.
2.      Answer inbound phone calls or internet inquiries from prospective clients inquiring about membership programs.
3.      Make outbound calls to prospective members for a variety membership programs.  
4.      Develop a personal contact list to sell and market to prospects and Referrals. 
5.      Follow up contact with all leads to offer and sell memberships and to generate referrals.
6.      Follow up with prospects via telephone, email service and schedule appointments.  
7.      Schedule call backs and follow up on all prospects and referrals.
8.      Provide information about GTI products and services.
9.      Educate prospects on features and GTI membership programs.
10.  Assists in prospect follow-up and support of sales activities.
11.  Enter referrals in the internal marketing database.
12.  Maintain accurate records for contacts and call backs in the internal database programs
13.  Must meet or exceed minimum performance standards
14.  Maintain minimum requirements set by management which include, but are not limited to: sales goals, phone productivity, adherence to guidelines set forth Quality Assurance.
15.  Understand and comply with all policies and procedures set forth GTI.  
16.  Participate in required team meetings, training & coaching sessions.  
17.  Work with all departments as necessary to sell and service GTI members.
18.  Perform other duties as assigned and take the initiative as opportunities are identified.

Job Requirements/Experience:
            -
6 months telemarketing experience
            - 1 year sales experience
            - 6 months customer service experience
            - 6 months contact center experience
            - Basic to intermediate computer skills

The equivalent experience will be considered> 

Educational Requirements:  High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Certification/Training: Must attend Quality Assurance Program, systems and product training.

Preferred qualities: 

  • Proven track sales track record
  • Must enjoy the discipline of telephone sales
  • Must possess strong oral communication and listening skills
  • PC proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be able to type 35 wpm and be able to handle multiple tasks. 
  • Must have excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Must have demonstrated ability to close sales.
