Friday, January 21, 2011
To celebrate the opening of Club Med Sandpiper Bay, located in Port St. Lucie, Fla., a ribbon-cutting ceremony and champagne toast with guests and local dignitaries was hosted this week by Henri Giscard D'Estaing, chairman and CEO, Club Méditerranée, and Xavier Mufraggi, president and CEO, Club Med North America.
With the St. Lucie River and spectacular sunset as the back-drop, JoAnn M. Faiella, mayor of Port St. Lucie, cut the red ribbon with Vice Mayor Linda Bartz and Councilman Jack Kelly by her side.
