LIGHTS ON RICE PARADE
The first Friday of December hosts the annual Lights on Rice Parade on Rice Street in Lihue. Start the day off with the craft fair taking place at the Kauai Museum, and then head over to this free event, which offers food booths and more at the historic county building. NEW YEAR'S EVE FIREWORKS 
Poipu Beach Park on Kauai hosts a fireworks display every year, presented by the Poipu Beach Resort Association.
