Look For Kids' Play Areas In Airports
Thursday, October 21, 2010
TRAVEL TIP OF THE DAY
Most major U.S. airports have some amenities for kids. Some airlines have set up simple play areas on their concourses, with playhouses or ball crawls; some airports have more elaborate offerings. There are aviation-themed children’s play areas at Seattle’s Sea-Tac Airport (Central Terminal), Boston’s Logan Airport (Terminal A), Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (Terminal D and E), Las Vegas’s McCarren International (Terminal D), Chicago O’Hare (Kids on the Fly in Terminal 2), and Minneapolis/St. Paul International (Lindbergh and Humphrey terminals).
